Have a Cocktail for a Cause on Jazz-N-Justice Tuesday

The POP Project is teaming up with THE BLOCK off biltmore for a Jazz-N-Justice Tuesday giving event on Tuesday, July 19, 2016. On this date, POP will receive 10% of the business’s net sales during their open hours from 5:00–11:00PM.

During the evening, we will be on hand to distribute information about POP, answer questions, and share a delicious small plate and beverage with you. Everyone is invited to come out and bring a friend for good company and great music! The Doctor B Trio, featuring both Bruce Hirsch and Dan Keller on guitar and Zack Page on bass, will play a live show beginning at 7:00PM.

So stop by for some good eats and to help out a great cause. The more food and drinks THE BLOCK sells on July 19, the more money POP receives for our mission to provide books to local adults and children in need. With receiving 10% of the evening’s sales, that means every $10 spent at THE BLOCK that night equals $10 in books redistributed into Buncombe and surrounding counties.

THE BLOCK off biltmore serves as a place for people to converge in order to build community and inclusive friendships between diverse movements, where social justice issues are discussed, actions formulated, and deep, healing magic happens. The business is located in downtown Asheville at 39 S. Market Street.

RSVP on Facebook and invite your friends. We’ll see you on July 19!
