The POP Project gives away thousands of books within our community every year. Those books may be free to the recipients, but there is a cost to storing, sorting, and delivering free books.
In addition to collecting private donations from supporters like you, the POP Project lists a small proportion of our books (less than 0.5%) through online sellers.
POP is proud to work with Asheville-based Biblio.com to list our books. Since 2003, Biblio has supported independent booksellers around the world through their online marketplace. We love the relationships they build with their sellers and the love of great vintage and rare books that flows through their site.
What’s more, Biblio’s bottom line runs deeper than your usual online marketplace. Through BiblioWorks, the company’s 501(c)3 nonprofit, they also help build public libraries in Bolivia. To date, six Bolivian communities have Biblio to thank for new libraries. Now, that’s a program the POP Project can get behind!
Next time you need the perfect book for a gift or a day at the beach, check out Biblio.com. Who knows, maybe you’ll even come across one of POP’s books while you’re on the site.
