POP is compiling a list of public lending libraries around town. Have you seen a stack, rack, or shelf of free books at any of your frequent stops? We want to know where these locations are around town!
Keeping a list of current local lending libraries lets us do a few things:
- We can bring books to these lending libraries as they begin to deplete, making sure that readers always have something new to find.
- We can determine which neighborhoods in and around Asheville need more lending libraries, making sure that all locals have equal access to free books.
When you see a lending library in your favorite coffee shop, salon, or insurance office, let us know!
