The POP Project is currently operating without a dedicated indoor storage and volunteer space. We are on the hunt for a new space that will allow us to spread out, welcome daily volunteers again, and take in loads of new book donations. Until then, we have had to make some changes to our programs for the foreseeable future.

Book Donations
POP is NOT ABLE to currently accept most book donations due to a shortage of storage space. *If you would like to donate children’s books, please reach out.* We’re working hard to prepare additional space for your great books. Thank you for your patience.

Book Deliveries
POP CAN AND WILL safely pack and deliver books to organizations in need. Click here to learn more about deliveries of adult-level books, children’s books, personalized readers, audiobooks on cassette and CD, and much more.
Volunteer Opportunities
We CANNOT currently accommodate daily volunteers or groups. However, if you would like to work with POP on a regular and ongoing basis, please reach out. Little Free Libraries
POP manages several Little Free Libraries around Buncombe County. If you see a LFL in need of books, please let us know.
Need a Little Free Library? POP currently has one FREE little free library available that needs a new home in a public space, in or near lower-income communities, and easily accessed by children and adults alike. The POP Project is 100% volunteer driven and our daily operations are 100% privately funded. Every dollar you donate is directed to our programmatic and administrative needs. And every dollar translates into $10+ in FREE books delivered back out into the community. Please give today.
