Wish List

The POP Project is 100% volunteer-led and 100% supported by private donations. Our success is built on the passion and dedication of members of this community who believe in our motto: Everyone deserves a good book.

Our steadily growing organization has a steadily growing increase in needs for various supplies and resources. Please help our wishes come true! Make an in-kind donation of an item on our wish list. Click the link within the item or contact us to donate today!

Donations can be mailed to: The POP Project, PO Box 18653, Asheville, NC 28814. Or contact us to arrange a pickup.

In-Kind Donations:

EZ Tent E-Z Up 10×10′ Pop Up Canopy – $219.99

POP holds our book sorting volunteer opportunities outside, and having a pop-up canopy would make sorting much easier in the sun or in case of a quick summer drizzle. We have had to rent a tent in the past. Help us purchase one once to use whenever needed.

Volunteer Locations

Many of POP’s volunteer opportunities take place outside, at the storage unit wherein we keep our books. Sometimes weather conditions affect our ability to follow through with our volunteer days.

Do you know of a place we can use as a rain location? (Short term storage capacity would be a great plus!) Send your ideas to us today!

3-COLOR_V-LWS Drop Box Locations

Since 2011, POP has received hundreds of books through our donation drop boxes. We would love to expand our reach by adding drop boxes to more places in the area.

Would your business or organization be interested in hosting a drop box? Contact us today for more information.

Suggest New Agencies

The POP Project currently has a surplus of adult fiction and nonfiction, including history, sociology, religion and spirituality, self help, health and wellness, home and garden, and many more. Our mission is to find new homes for these books. Please contact us if you know of any agencies or organizations in Asheville, Buncombe County, or Western North Carolina who would benefit from a greater access to books.
